This beautiful basket is handmade by our groups in Kenya. The baskets are crafted from local sisal plants, which are abundant in the region. Our producers harvest the sisal, extract the fibers, dye them using various barks and leaves, spin threads, and hand-weave the final products. Due to the organic nature of the dye, some variations in color might occur. These traditional skills are passed down through generations, and the women often come together and work in fellowship. Through flexible working conditions and fair wages, our goal is to contribute to economic empowerment for the artisans.
